Who doesn't love succulents?! They come in a wide variety of colors and textures, plus they are really easy to take care of.
Follow our easy 5-step process to have the party favor your guests will 'ooh' and 'aah' over.
I planted some succulents in our party pails over 6 months ago and they are thriving in my kitchen window! In fact they are so happy with how large they've gotten that I am thinking about adding them to my garden and planting new succulent clippings in the pails!
What you will need:
Cactus/ Succulent potting soil from your local garden center
Two-inch succulent plant or flower from your local garden center
Small rocks or pebbles from your local garden center or your neighbor's yard :)
Decorative moss from your local garden center
Add pebbles to the bottom of the pail to allow water to drain away from the plant's roots
Add soil to cover the pebbles
Carefully remove succulent plant from its container and place it into the party pail
Fill up the pail with soil leaving some room at the top
Add moss around the plant
Note: If you'd like, you can add the thank you note (included with our pails) to the handle as a special touch.
Special care for your succulents:
Keep them in a well lit area, away from direct sunlight.
Do not over water! Once a week is about right.
